Dental Assistant / EFDA
(full-time)

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant or EFDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing quality dental care to patients. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Place restorations (EFDA)
- New patient consultations

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Ability to take vital signs and assess patients
- Proficiency in infection control procedures
- Positive Attitude and Team Player
- Understanding of dental anatomy
- Competency in X-Ray procedures
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques

Dental Hygienist or
Restorative Hygienist
(full time/part time)

Sleep Dentistry of Spokane is looking for a Hygienist to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced candidate to run our daily hygiene/ re-care schedule. We are seeking a full-time Restorative Hygienist, and/or a part-time Dental Hygienist position. We are offering a $3,000 hiring bonus with a 12-month contract!

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take digital x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Place Composite and Amalgam restorations
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software system
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment

Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in Washington
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
